In addition to the marked test routes (5–10 minutes), RideOn 2026 offers you the chance to join group rides. You can find the routes for these in this kommot collection. Feel free to ride these routes on your own to test a bike for more than 5–10 minutes and really put it through its paces. It’s even more fun as a group. If you’d like to join the group rides, please arrive at the group ride meeting point (signposted) 10 minutes before the tour starts, ready to ride. No advance registration is required, and you cannot reserve a test bike in advance. Simply approach the brand representatives in the outdoor area of our event 30 minutes before the ride and choose your test bike. You can find the Group Ride times in the program. Group Rides are offered in the categories (E-)MTB, Gravel, Trekking, and Road. Since the ride times overlap, you can only participate in one of these categories.
Participation in Group Rides is at your own risk. Helmets are mandatory.
There is no need to register in advance for a test ride. However, we ask that you register for guided rides at the RideOn info point on the event site before the tour begins, as spots are limited due to the availability of test bikes.
To join a guided tour, visit the info desk at RideOn and select the ride you wish to join. It’s important to arrive early, as slots are limited due to the availability of test bikes. Reservations cannot be made in advance and must be done on site. Group rides are organized by bike category and will occur at roughly the same time, so you will need to choose your preferred category.
The group rides will last approximately 1.5 hours. More details about the difficulty level of each tour will be provided. If you wish to participate, please register at the info desk in advance and arrive at the meeting point/bike rental at least 20 minutes early
The group rides are divided into different bike categories and are designed to accommodate a range of medium skill levels. Each ride includes multiple guides, allowing groups to split if participants’ skill levels vary significantly. However, the rides are not suitable for absolute beginners in each category.
We kindly ask you to bring your own gear (shoes, apparel, helmet). In case you use special pedals, please also bring them. We do have helmets available in case you need one. The group rides take place at nearly the same time, so it is good to choose your category first (EMTB, gravel or road) if you want to join, so you know what to bring.
The test rides are short, but bike wear could be useful as well. A helmet is mandatory.
Yes, signing a waiver is mandatory before participating in a test or group bike ride. This will be handled centrally for all brands and types of rides upon your arrival at the info desk.
For guests joining the group rides we have (portable) showers available on site.
Yes, there are lockers at RideOn for our guests who join the group rides so you can safely stow your clothes and other belongings during the event.
